Hi All, We are both so Lucky to have such supportive staff. For those of you who don't know we run a small commercial cleaning business and our staff have always been good. Especially our supervisor Lynn who we have always been able to rely on and who has never let us down. She has been with us for a long time. Since Jimmy's diagnosis we have had to lean on her a lot and she never complains just gets on with it. And there is Rob who has been a friend for years who is also now working for Jimmy and who has also been fantastic to us. Well The pair of them did an abseil from Newcastle bridge to raise some money so they could help fund some of the Tarceva. Jimmy is a very proud man and when family offered to help out he thanked them and he told them no he did not want to rely on handouts or put pressure on his family. He did not even want to take the money raised from the abseil but after a talking too and a suggestion from me he decided that he would use some of the money to help fund another course of drugs but we would also donate a chunk of it to the Roy Castle Lung Foundation. They have been so supportive to us since starting this campaign at least this way it is helping not just Jimmy but other L C patients as well. We cannot thank them enough for doing this and a huge thanks to all who were kind enough to sponsor them. We feel very humbled by this and truly blessed to have so many wonderful supportive friends.
Love n ((((hugs)))) to you all! Deanne & Jimmy xxx
