Geoff is now in the hospice they are attempting to control his pain he has the patches and lozenges and although they help its still bad for him he has had 48hrs of observation and tonight has been given ketamin which has relaxed him. Our visit to the onc was another scan next week to see if the cancer has spread or is still the same and an apt to return to him in a fortnight when he will give us the results. Should we be waiting that long again for the scan, what if it is advancing whilst we are waiting...although Geoff is to weak at the mo to have any chemo anyway. He also told us the staging of Geoff's cancer T4, N2, M1 i have looked it up and i'm thinking it's pretty bad. Why, why, why it feels like the world has stopped and we can't get off i do hope a ray of sunshine comes along soon and i'm trying so hard to be strong tonight i feel like the bottoms just fell out of our life and i look at him and cry sorry for the moans....

Hi Elsa
We are so sorry Geoff is having such a hard time , and you also it cannot be easy for the both of you, I would have thought they would be much quicker with the scan results? I can see no reason to make you agonise and wait. I do hope that ray of sunshine comes, never apologise this is what this site is for to listen and support . thinking of you both
