Hi Deanne, I have just updated the Tarceva diary. We had a fantastic time and in fact I almost "forgot" about cancer completely. Bob was so relaxed and the weather so good that it seemed a different world. One in which I played "lets pretend" as in "lets pretend we're NORMAL". Slept soundly for 3 weeks. The last week though reality set back in so it was the 4am wakeup back again! We have a scan tomorrow and a meeting with the Oncologist late Monday. Glad your daughters 21st went so well and congratulations to you and Jimmy on the 1 year result! Wonderful news for you both. Bet you got the champers out! We certainly will if we get a positive result on Monday too. Love Daisey xx

Hi!!!! glasses filled!!! The scan showed "no spread, no change". As this was after 1 month without tarceva and then 3 with we are very pleased indeed to say the least. Next one in July which will be a more "truthfull" scan but Bobs cancer was a very aggressive form so this result is brilliant. Our Oncologist will also support an application via. the NHS when our medical insurance runs out and he was very interested in the website and the info. on it. I know we all feel the same, that this drug should be available to all........regardless of one's address. Another very big THANKYOU to everyone for the support and caring and especially to Deanne and Jimmy, you are doing such a great job! Love n hugs! Happy Daiseyxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi daisey
fantastic , that is such great news all hail "Tarceva" lol .There is no reason why the NHS should refuse you after results like this.
