Dear Members, since setting up this site in the aim to support members fighting for Tarceva I have been in contact with such wonderful warm people. I have been able to relate to their pain and frustration of not been able to get the care that they should be entitled too, and having a fight on their hands on top of an already huge fight the battle with cancer. Through the past few weeks I have spoken on the phone to family members who have fought for the drug but it has been too late by the time they got their hands on it. I cannot even begin to imagine their grief and the anger they have felt knowing they were denied that chance. I just wanted to add this section out of respect and give people a chance if they want to, to put some kind of tribute to their loved ones and bring others together united in their grief.
Love n ((((Hugs))) Deanne x

Like Sharon,I lost my soulmate and dearly loved husband of nearly 40 years. Our son came home just after Doug was diagnosed,so I have some company. If it wasn't for our kids and grandkids I think I would just want to follow him.Nobody knows the devastation and heartache unless they have experienced it first hand, and believe me it's something I wouldn't wish on anyone! He is so very sadly missed and we'll love him forever.
