· What kind of lung cancer do I have? · Has my cancer spread beyond the primary site? · What is the stage of my cancer and what does that mean in my case? · What treatment choices do I have? · What do you recommend and why? · What risks or side effects are there to the treatments you suggest? · What if I need to have surgery, can I live with only one lung? · What are the chances my cancer will come back with these treatment plans? · What is my prognosis with these treatments? · What should I do to be ready for treatment? · Should I follow a special diet? · Will the treatment be painful? Will I have any scars?

A piece of advice to throw in to the wonderful list provided. When Onc says and if they say,"You have only so much time," Don't listen to that info. Only a statistic and only the good Lord knows when we are going. I know a lot of people who have beaten that number. GReat list

I agree Randy, they gave my Dad 2 months to live and that was 5 months ago - he is still stable !! Granted its not 'cured' but I am loving 'stable' ! He has a good quality of life and thats what matters. dawn
