Hi All, 19 months since Jimmy was diagnosed with stage IV non small cell lung cancer! I am happy to report that he is doing well on Tarceva and leading a full normal life. We know that it does not work for everyone but for him so far he is doing great, long may it continue. We know how lucky we are that he is doing well and feel very strongly that everyone should be given a chance with it. Even though Roche have introduced TAP (Tarceva Access Programme) here in England it seems that still patients are having problems accessing this drug?? I know there are other success stories out there using Tarceva but most of them not from England because of the problems we have accessing up to date drugs. Anyone fighting for drugs don't give up!
