Hi Deanne & Jimmy I had to pop in to take a look at the fantastic site you have created on this subject and it looks amazing. You have worked so hard. I know that this is something that is a huge part of your life right now and I wish so much that wasnt the case but as always you are also thinking of others and we all know that action and strength comes in numbers. I am sure many people will benefit hugely from this site and from the forum. It has also really opened my eyes as to how unfair the postcode lottery can be! I love you both so much and I hope that your endless determination wins the fight for treatment and of course the battle with Jimmys cancer. Always there for you both and well done on the new site. Love Nicki & Stephen xxx

Hi Deanne & Jimmy,
All the best with this new website. It seems so unfair that just a few miles away from you someone can be prescribed this treatment at no cost. Well, it seems unfair full stop actually.
Petition signed and sent to others for signing.
Best wishes to both of you.

Hi Deanne & Jimmy,
the postcode lottery is appalling, so unfair and unjust. I wish you all the luck in the world with receiving the drug, treatment and recovery.
Congratulations on the launch of this fab website. It'll be a huge source of information and comfort to many people. You are amazing!
Take care, love Nina xx

For the years that we have known you both you have always thought of others and put others first.
Now its our turn to return the favour, we will always be here to support you in your fight for Tarveca for Jimmy and for others that don't have the right for the drug.
This website will grow day by day and with all your friends and family hopefully will make a difference.

Dearest Deanne and Jimmy You two are the most wonderful people anyone could ever know, you have both been to hell and back with one thing and another, and still keep fighting, not only for yourselves, but for others too! Neither of you have a selfish bone in your bodies and and truely deserve not to have to fight anymore battles!! You have always been here for us and we will always be here for you, we will support you with this battle for the drug Traveca, we think it utterly disgusting that you are not entitled to this drug and will help in anyway we can. You have set up another fabulous web site and i'm sure Deanne you will amaze us all again with your strength and endless support.
Thinking of you both as always. Good luck to you both and anyone else in need of this drug.
Love Jo and Mick xxxx

Oh My, I am so overwhelmed by all your posts. You have no idea what a boost reading them all have given me. It really helps a lot knowing that we have people behind us supporting us through such a difficult time. I hope that your posts will encourage others to post along with their family members. Support is so important we need all the support we can get if we are going to win the right to use this drug. Somtimes you can feel very alone going through this it's so hard to talk and share your feelings. I find it so much easier writing my thoughts down then saying them out loud. We are lucky to have such wonderful friends.
(((hugs))) to each and everyone of you! Deanne xxx

Firstly
I am so overwhelmed by the posts and i would like to thank you all for your support . I am not surprised.! you are all such a great set of friends some i have met over the last few years some just recently but we feel we have known you all for years and years.!! Your support is such a tonic not just for me but for Deanne.
However i would like to take this opportunity to thank my amazing Wife who despite her own Heartache still finds the time to set up this Website to try and gain support for the Tarceva not just for myself but every other patient in the same situation, She is such an amazing person who does not realise just how strong she is. She never complains and never expects rewards she has a true Heart of Gold whom i love very much.
Once again a BIG THANKYOU for you very kind words of support
Jimmy

The web site is great. You are both trully amazing. We were horrified to read that there is a postcode lottery for receiving the drug Tarceva. Our hearts and thoughts are with you both. If there is anything we can do please get in touch.
Lots of love and hugs to you both.

You are an inspiration Deanne, I hope this site reaches people far and wide and raises awareness that despite having a uniform NHS we are not all treated the same.
I can't imagine how soul destroying it must be to a patient and their family to know that a drug is available in one place but not in another. We all deserve to be given a fair chance at life but knowing you are not being given that chance is simply devastating.
I wish you luck, not just in getting this site to the people that need it most, not just in your quest to make a much needed change but also the best of luck for the two of you over the coming weeks and months. I sincerely hope you win this battle in every way.
B

Dearest Deanne and Jimmy,
You both amaze me so much with the love and strength you both have! It is so easy to see how devoted you are to each other and you both deserve so much to have this horrible nightmare taken away from you!! It angers me so much that the drugs are all down to where you live and I hope with all my heart that you will win this fight and get the drugs on the NHS!!! More than that though I completely hope and pray that Jimmy will recover 100% My heart goes out to everyone who is suffering this dreaded disease and I truly hope that they will get as much support from this site as you have given on so many occassions!! If there is ever anything we can do for you you know where we are!!
With lots of love
Mandy and Graham xx

Hi All, Everytime I read all your posts my eyes brim with tears. Having people rooting for this cause makes all the difference. I have said before we are small fish in a big pond. Everytime I think about this it just makes me so angry it is draining it really is. I just keep telling myself it will be worth it!
Thanks again everyone, Deanne xxx

Deanne and Jimmy Wow, I stumbled upon your site this afternoon. I just wanted to show my support, I think you are both amazing. I have read your story Jimmy and what a man, Deanne must be so proud of you and you of her. I hope you dont mind me stopping by and saying hello and if there is anything I can do to help promote your site and get the word out there then please say so. I know from the past what fighters you both are, and the strength you both have to fight yet another battle amazes me. You shouldnt have to fight though, this is insane that just because you live in the wrong postcode, you arent entitled to the same quality of life as someone living in Scotland! Who the hell makes these decisions? Keep on fighting for your human right. Hugs to you both and going for another surf. love Clare and Ellis xx
